Season so far: The Rams lost 27-7 to San Francisco in Melbourne, then beat the Giants 28-6 as Davante Adams caught eight passes for 195 yards. In Week 3 they led 16-0 at halftime in Denver but lost 30-26, as Talanoa Hufanga returned an interception 66 yards for a touchdown and intercepted another pass in the end zone on the final play (AP). Los Angeles has scored 61 points and allowed 63.
Quarterback and key players: Matthew Stafford, the reigning MVP, is 67 of 111 for 872 yards with six touchdowns and four interceptions (ESPN). He threw 55 passes in Denver, including a career-high 32 in the first half. Kyren Williams has 214 rushing yards. Adams has 358 receiving yards, third in the NFL. Quentin Lake has 24 tackles. ESPN says the Rams lead the league in total offense at 418 yards per game.
This week: McVay said Nacua (hip) will play with no designation after missing two games, though the team is still working through his snap count.
