Season so far: Indianapolis lost 41-23 at home to Baltimore, then lost 33-30 in overtime at Kansas City. In Week 3, Spencer Shrader, playing through a groin injury, kicked four field goals, including the winner with 16 seconds left, in a 19-17 victory over Houston. That ended the league’s longest active losing streak at nine games (AP). The Colts have scored 72 points and allowed 91, and AP noted the defense gave up more than 500 yards in each of the first two games.
Quarterback and key players: Daniel Jones is 65 of 98 for 611 yards with three touchdowns and three interceptions (ESPN). He fumbled three times against Houston and lost two. Jonathan Taylor has 258 rushing yards and four touchdowns. Josh Downs leads the team with 14 catches for 186 yards, and Keenan Allen scored his first touchdown as a Colt in Week 3. DeForest Buckner has three sacks and Akeem Davis-Gaither has 29 tackles.

Season so far: Washington lost 24-22 at Philadelphia when its tying two-point try was stopped, then lost 37-20 at Dallas, where Jayden Daniels dislocated his left elbow again. In Week 3 the Commanders ended defending champion Seattle’s 12-game winning streak, 33-31, as backup LB Kain Medrano returned an interception 50 yards for a touchdown with 3:57 left (AP). Washington has scored 75 points and allowed 92.
Quarterback and key players: Marcus Mariota threw three touchdown passes and no interceptions against Seattle and is 30 of 47 for 294 yards with four touchdowns this season (ESPN). Jacory Croskey-Merritt has 142 rushing yards. Terry McLaurin has 10 catches for 141 yards, rookie LB Sonny Styles had an interception in Week 3, and S Jeremy Reaves leads the team with 20 tackles.
This week: Daniels was limited in practice all week while wearing a brace, and Quinn ruled him out Friday, so he misses a second straight game.
