AP Poll: Villanova steals No. 1 spot, Duke falls to No. 4

Villanova is the nation’s top-ranked team after moving to 10-0 on the season with wins over Gonzaga and La Salle.

Duke was dethroned after falling to Boston College on Saturday night. The Blue Devils are now 11-1, and, for the first time this season, aren’t ranked first by The Associated Press.

Arizona State moved up 11 spots to crack the top five after defeating Kansas and St. John’s. Other high risers this week are West Virginia, which moved up seven spots to No. 11, and TCU, which moved up six spots to No. 14.

The Jayhawks fell to the 13th spot after spending the first five weeks in the top five. Florida and Notre Dame also had steep drops out of the top 10, falling to 22 and 18, respectively.
